Shea hair formula (SHF) is a preshampoo treatment. Pre-pooing is the process of applying a treatment to hair before the actual shampoo process. Our combination of natural oils - shea butter, coconut oil, almond oil, avocado oil, castor oil and glycerine - is recommended as a weekly pre-poo treatment. The treatment provides hair with a protective layer. This is necessary as it avoids the complete striping of hairs natural oils when shampooing. It also serves to protect the hair strand from the damage caused when using chemical or thermal techniques to style hair.
